A lovely vintage full-color print after pencil and watercolor drawing "On The Beach" by Eugene Boudin. Comes from a rare First Limited Edition art folio, published in Budapest, Hungary, in 1959. Signed in the print: "E. Boudin - 68". Printed on one side. Artist's name on the back is related to another piece in the folio. Excellent condition - minor edge wear, never framed.

Eugène Boudin, (1824-1898), one of the first French landscape painters to paint in the open air, directly from nature. His many beach scenes directly link the carefully observed naturalism of the early 19th century and the brilliant light and fluid brushwork of late 19th-century Impressionism.
