Wonderful decorative and heavy cast brass of a warrior horse or beast rider.
The horse and warrior are very modern tribal elongated form.
The tribal horse sculpture was produced using the traditional 'lost wax' process.
Lost wax method is the process by which a bronze or brass is cast.

A bridal dowry sculpture in the form of a helmeted soldier riding a sort of horse or beast, he having the reins in one hand and a small weapon or symbol of authority in the other.
Metal toys such as this were presented by the family of the bride, and horses, as well as elephants, were considered status symbols, as they were not seen in the Kondh area until introduced by the British in 1835.
