Each drawer is further embellished by light string inlay and cross banding, which both elevate the aspect of the front above and beyond the average. The piece has a sporty look, between the zippy timber and its stance, perched on tall French feet. Original polished brass hardware. Ca 1800. Good antique condition, very nice French polished finish, a few small discreet restorations, planing of the understructure visible across drawer fronts in certain light.
