Impressive & elegant hand painted large blue and white table lamp on a Ming style dark brown solid rosewood stand.
Round body is carefully hand painted with blue enamels and depicts a wrap around traditional Chinese landscape of mountains, lakes & sampans, pavilions and temples with birds flying overhead. Known as Shan Soi.
Finely painted, traditional lappet border and Ruyi above and below the two pairs of blue foo lions.
Original wiring and in full working order. A very fine piece suitable for many areas in the home.
Peoples Republic Period.
