This rare Dragon Ware porcelain cup with matching saucer feature a beautiful moriage 22kt gold leaf dragon the exterior of the cup and top of the saucer, while at the bottom of the saucer a Lithophane "nude" geisha is revealed at the last sip of tea or coffee. The detail of the dragon and articulation of the geisha is exquisite, and the delicate nature of the cup allows light to come through making the figure even more visible and vibrant.
