The design is attributed … Read more The original Balloon Chair was manufactured by the German manufacturer Lusch & Co during the 1960s. The design is attributed to Lusch Erzeugnis. The frame is made of metal, the upholstery is made of natural leather (suede) in an earthy green color. The diagonal seat makes the chair deep and comfortable to sit in. It has a light form, the upholstery is laced, the color is subdued, and the thin legs do not burden the geometric shape. This design is one of the most recognizable armchairs from the Mid-Century Modern era.
