The first version of this spectacular lamp, designed by J.J.M. Hoogervorst; one of the best post-war lighting designers of the Netherlands.
Anvia advertised this lamp as a "non-fashionable design", taking pride in their functionalist approach. It was intended not go out of style. By adjusting the position of the weight, the lamp will go up, or down to find balance in any position. The shade can be sdjusted and it can be rotated 360 degrees. An ingenious and unique design by Hoogervorst and a high quality production by Anvia. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
