This is a heavy dresser made of solid oak.  There is no veneer or partical board.  Several coats of satin varnish have been applied to the entire piece to protect the surfaces from getting easily damaged. Black handle pulls have been added to all the drawers. Embrace the history and craftsmanship as they become a distinctive part of your home decor. They don't make furniture like this no more.

This piece is extra wide at 24" giving you ample space for storage.  The bottom drawer is twice the size of the two top drawers.
