A Beautiful mid-century modern table lamp by Modeline features a great sculptural base made of teak. The shades are in great overall condition. Modeline Company Of California was a small lighting company located in Los Angeles, California, and was founded by Bernie Roberts in 1957. The California lamp company operated until 1981. Modeline specialized in table and floor lamps inspired by an intermix of the Space Age and Mid-Century style. Modeline lamp designs are instantly recognizable. In many versions, the lamp's tapered hardwood legs reach skyward to surround a minimalistic shade as you can easily see in the above images.
