Dimensions: 33 ⅝” H x 19 ¾” W x 1 ½” D
A charming music-themed giltwood mirror from France, circa 1870. Topping the piece is meticulously carved ornamentation of a dainty satin ribbon draped over a flute and violin, joined by open sheet music for a little duet in any room you hang the mirror in. At the base, two wide feet elevate and protect the elegantly styled molding and mirror plate, mounted on a dark green painted wood back panel. The mirror is strung with picture wire, ready to hang in your interior. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition. The glass is likely a 20th century replacement without the expected foxing or crystals.
