The thick, square top surface in faux black marble would elevate sculptural works of art to a safe height, as well as vases or plants. Covering the fluted shaft of the concrete column is the artist’s skillful take on red marble with passionately swirled veins of gray pigment over red-brown, supported by a square base that repeats the black & white technique of the top for visual balance.
