"Buffalo Bill" Cody in 1883, was a spectacular outdoor entertainment show that toured the US and Europe. The show featured a variety of acts, including sharp-shooting, trick riding, and reenactments of famous events from the American frontier, such as buffalo hunts and Pony Express rides. The show was know for it's dramatic narrative structure and large cast, which included cowboys, Native Americans, and even famous figures like Annie Oakley. It played a significant role in shaping the romanticized image of the American West that persists in popular culture today.
