Stunning and rare chest of drawers belonging to the prestigious "Marango" series designed by Alberto Smania for the company of the same name Smania Studio Interni in the late 1960s.
The chest of drawers contains and embodies the high Italian mastery and craftsmanship of the time with amazing details on the corners in leather weaving, entirely covered in dark walnut root, with brass profiles and Italian cane.
A truly breathtaking piece and also finished on the back, which makes it suitable for positioning even in the center of a room.
It has 4 drawers and 2 large drawers with brass handles.
The conditions are excellent, with tiny signs of aging as shown in the photographs, even though it is now almost 60 years old.
