Floor lamp designer: josef hurka year: around 1935 manufacturer: napako country: czech republic measurements: h 140 cm/ 170 cm w 55 cm d 40 cm material: steel tube painted matt black, chrome-plated, base and shelf, blockboard plate painted matt black with shellac, reflector frosted glass, an e27 socket, black plastic connection cable, 3-wire condition: good condition special remarks: few signs of use. We offer this very rare height-adjustable floor lamp from napako (prague) from a well-kept private property. The wireing was properly replaced. A rare floor lamp probably by josef hurka for napako, prague. The lamp was designed entirely in the style of the new objectivity of czech modernism. The arrangement of the switch under the plate, the smooth height adjustment in the double standpipe. All parts are original! the lamp has a manufacturer's mark in the metal mounting plate under the shelf.
