The black wooden base is equipped with an E27 socket and an on/off switch, while the impressive glass body looks like a beehive with curved brass rods.
It can be used both as a floor lamp and as a table lamp.
The Murano-based company Veart began producing vases and, above all, various lamps in 1965 by Italian glass artists such as Toni Zuccheri. In the 1970s, a new edition of a lamp came onto the market that was available as both a pendant and a table lamp. The design was taken over by Adolf Loos. The glass was blown into a metal wire cage, creating a spiral pattern. The lamps were sold in Switzerland by Wohnbedarf. The version offered here has silver-colored metal parts and a black base.
