Here we have a beautiful set of large old ironstone nesting bowls. These are hand painted in a French Provincial Quimper style. No major damage, but there is crazing and some staining on the middle sized bowl only. Also a ding to the glaze on the small bowl. No chunks of pottery are missing and no cracks. The glaze is nice and glossy, no utensil marks. Painted in shades of blue, green, red and a touch of yellow. I happen to adore the age on these old country bowls and consider these issues to be normal wear from age and use, but please examine photos to see if this kind of patina bothers you.
Measurements: Small bowl is 11.25" wide x 2.25" tall.
Medium bowl is 12.25" wide x 2.5" tall.
Large bowl is 14.5" wide x 3" tall.
