A Very Nice Antique Lehigh County, PA Handmade Cherry Blanket Chest, Circa 1880-1900
Handmade. Found in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania
Lovely cherrywood blanket chest, dovetailed case, dovetailed feet, and a graceful scalloped apron. Retains the original finish and hardware. Lick has been removed for safety.
Wonderful petit size! 37” wide al the top of the lid.
Excellent quality, and craftsmanship. Made in the old mannerisms, however we feel it’s from the later quarter of the 19th century.
Cherrywood, with chestnut wood, and poplar secondary woods.
Size: 37” wide, 19 1/2” deep, and 24 1/2” tall.
Condition: excellent condition, as found original condition. Very minor wear and use marks. Lock has been removed for safety.
