This antique silver lidded box features exquisite craftsmanship with pierced, hammered, and repoussé detailing. The dome-top design is adorned with intricate reliefs of birds and floral motifs, creating a striking decorative piece. Likely a 19th century Chinese export dry fruit casket, the origins of this unmarked box is unknown (metal untested).
Measuring 6-5/8" x 4" x 3.25" high and weighing 15.4 oz, this piece is in good condition with wear consistent with age. A beautiful and functional item for display, storage, or a unique addition to a silver collection.
