Offered are two glazed ceramic planters created by Eduardo Vega in the 1970s at his workshop in Cuenca, Ecuador.
Featuring peacocks in shades of mauve and brown, with lavender and brown flowers, the background resembles a glaze of scrawled pencil on cream white pottery. They are each signed and bear their original labels adhered.
One measures 4" in diameter, 4.625" tall, and the slightly smaller one measures 3.75" in diameter and 4" tall.
