A rare First Edition period offset lithograph, print, of painting Cheminée (Chimney) by Giorgio de Chirico. Comes from a rare First Limited Edition art folio published by Albert Skira in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1947. Signed in the print. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Information regarding the original artwork will be found by lifting the piece. Excellent condition - minor edge wear on the board, never framed.

Giorgio De Chirico (died in 1978) was a Greek-born Italian painter, sculptor and writer whose works, unanimously admired by the surrealists until 1925, then were rejected unanimously. He is one of the founders of the metaphysical painting movement.
