Antique Hand Carved Folk Art Shrine. Hand carved painted base with carved lotus leaves surrounding the pedestal. The sides of the pieces are carved wood with gilt detail. The top has a round metal disk with flourish detailing at the top. The pedestal could have been used to house a deity sculpture and/or offerings. In used condition with wear consistent with age.
