This midcentury-era fireplace tool set will look just right in a contemporary/modernist setting. Made in the USA by the Pilgrim Fireplace Manufacturing Co. (and attributed to George Nelson design), it includes a clean-lined base and frame, which holds four tools: a poker, shovel, broom/brush, and log grabber/tongs. Rendered in matte black wrought iron, it is a sturdy, weighty piece of fireplace equipment.
The set is in very good vintage/pre-owned condition, showing light wear consistent with age and use. See photos for light wear on the shovel and on the top of the frame.
