Rare antique English cribbage board which folds up into a faux book, c.1870
A whimsical cribbage board, faux book box. When folded, it looks like a small leather bound book. When opened out flat, one side is the cribbage board inlaid in exotic woods, and the other side felt lined and where you would keep your cribbage pieces. There is a small sliding lid, under which you would keep your dice. Good antique condition with age and use wear. Recently waxed and polished. When open flat, the board measures 10.75” wide.
