Original hand-carved Oromo stool from Ethiopia, early 20th century. Crafted from a single piece of wood, it features a beautifully curved, bowl-shaped seat supported by three sturdy legs.
with its rich patina and timeless design, this piece exudes history and tribal charm. Originating from the Gurage people, its form is so classic it could have been made centuries ago. A versatile and decorative object, perfect as a bedside stool, side table, or display piece in a bohemian or eclectic space.
Signs of age and wear are visible, adding to its authenticity—please see photos. Despite its age, the stool remains solid, firm, and stable. A rare sculptural piece of African craftsmanship, not many of these remain today.
