The latter, strong in the ceramic activity which has flourished in the town since the beginning of the 19th century, developed a company which evolved after the arrival of René Louis Balichon in 1910, to become the company Denert et Balichon in 1921. The production of the workshop is diversifying, offering a wide range of vases and decorative stoneware objects under the Denbac brand. However, after Denert's death in 1937, the activity declined and, despite a timid recovery after the Second World War, the company ended its production in 1952, leaving behind a rich ceramic heritage appreciated by collectors.
