Tapestry is called "The Era of Tzar Dusan", depicting Tzar Dusan with soldiers, marching on their horses. Tapestry is handmade and it is done in 100% wool. The works of Rodiqi can be found only in museums and government institutions, where they remain pieces of wall decorations. The tapestry was a woven signature of the artist and the year when it was made. Made in Yugoslavia in 1965. Mateja Rodiqi was one of the best tapestry artist in Europe throughout the 1960s and 1970s. His works can be found in Paris City Hall, two of them are part of the art collection of Kennedy family, and few of them could still be found in several government buoldings and museums of ex Yugoslav republics. Good vintage condition with some signs of time and use. See less
