The design was subsequently produced by Sentou from 1970 to 1971. A rare edition, handcrafted in a limited run of a few hundred pieces, this coffee table is characterized by its clean lines and geometric forms.

Constructed of richly colored ash wood, the natural grain is emphasized by the minimalist design—a square top framed by an geometric edge with aluminum brackets, elevated by a series of sturdy block legs.

French architect Georges Candilis collaborated closely with Finnish interior designer Anja Blomstedt, creating robust yet practical furniture with a focus on efficiency and cost. Together, they offered distinctive, radical, and understated designs, where beauty emerged from the extreme simplicity characteristic of Nordic influences.
