This abstract work has a pale pink background with a Cubist style dynamic charcoal sketch accented with dark pink and purple. Unframed, the painting is signed to the lower right.

A Cleveland artist, Campbell won a scholarship in 1947 to the Cleveland Institute of Art and later continued her studies in New York at the Pratt Institute and the Art Students League. She went on to teach at the Cleveland Institute of Art as well as at Cuyahoga Community College. Campbell exhibited widely during her lifetime including a solo show at the Butler Museum of American Art and the The Cleveland Museum of Art. See less
