A mixed media painting and collage on canvas by the American artist Anthony Louis Popcheff (1954-2003). This vibrant abstract work depicts a segmented landscape with rectangular areas of sky, hills, and clouds. Collaged images are located throughout the work. Unsigned, the painting is displayed in a black wooden frame.
Anthony Louis Popcheff was born in Colorado and was a self employed artist. He graduated from John Herron School of art in 1985 and had a thirty year affiliation with Editions Limited and Alliance Gallery Indianapolis Museum of Art.
