Arshile Gorky ( 1904 - 1948 ) is an Armenian American painter who held a seminal influence on Abstract Expressionism. Along with mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, and Willem De Kooning, Gorky is hailed as one of the most important American artists of The Twentieth Century. His works were often speculated to have been informed by the suffering and loss he experienced in the Armenian genocide. Artworks by Gorky are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print framed Abstract Expressionist lithograph print measures 29 1/8" W X 23 1/4" H X 1 1/2" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern satin eggshell finish gray stained white oak wood museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent condition. The print is in excellent clean vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and some very light minor wear.
