Evening Sunsets on the North Atlantic coast are spectacular. But after the fiery display comes a still calm when everything appears almost violet. Darkness is coming in but it has not quite arrived.
When the water is quiet and all you can hear is the lap of the tide as it ebbs and flows these strange colours look extraordinary. It is well worth hanging around after sunset to watch the night close in.
