It measures 24" in height, 6" in width, and 20.25" in depth. This traditional puppet theater, performed by the village youth association, features brightly painted and costumed puppets, and is a joint effort between Bamana farmers and Bozo fishermen. However, according to oral tradition, it originated with the Bozo people, who are descendants of the medieval Ghana Empire's Soninke rulers and the area's original inhabitants.
