Elegant Neoclassical tripod pedestal table decorated with delicately carved busts and feet in the French empire style. The busts are gilt silver. The body of the table is ebony black and the top is a high- quality walnut veneer. Heavy and sturdy.
From the Baker Furniture Company (American, founded 1903). Age of item is estimated to be from the 1980s.
Table is in excellent condition. Under very specific lighting, the top reveals two very imperceptible "dents" to the veneer. Very hard to see and photograph.
