Add some Swedish design to your decor with this iconic quality brass candelabra designed by Gunnar Ander for Ystad Metall in the 1950s. Gunnar was a Swedish architect who designed timeless pieces in brass and glass. This superb candelabra with six tulip-shaped brass sockets has a very modern, sculptural look with its clean sinuous lines that epitomizes Swedish design and quality.
The unpolished brass stems and cups have a nice patina and the base has a slightly darker patina as shown. The candelabra is in very good condition with normal wear from age and use. The sockets are removable and can accommodate .5" tapered candles. The underside is marked with the Gunnar Ander, Ystad Metall logo. This fine piece is part of a large collection of Scandinavian mid-century pieces. The underside is marked with the Gunnar Ander logo, Ystad Metall, Made in Sweden.
