Having the finest diamond cut crystal attributed to Baccarat France with original Austrian gilt bronze mounts Crisp sharp and detailed first cast bronze adornments ( see how realistic the animal paw feet look ) with the crystal typical of antique baccarat being brilliant and clean. Marked Austria underneath one bronze paw with an illegible mark under another paw , nice heavy weight for a solid and stable straight stance. Note : The very high end objects of value in the late 19th / early 20th century were made using exotic materials from countries that made the very best of that particular commodity in this case the crystal from France ( most likely Baccarat) and the bronze from Austria See less
