Polek’s works seem to radiate light and draw you into the scene. This original oil painting is in a gilded frame and has a sturdy wire hanger attached to the back along with what appear to be a gallery or shop tags bearing the name Jacobson’s. One tag lists the original purchase price of the painting at $250. We estimate this piece is from the mid-twentieth century. The painting and frame are in very good vintage condition with the possibility of a minor scuff or two to the frame. The paper backing is no longer in place.
