This beautiful scene of farmhouses on a vineyard in the California hills is rich with fine details and bright colors. A bold neon green pops throughout the landscape, giving this scene a sense of life and energy.

Hofstetter has been a plein air painter and art teacher for 40 years. Among the places she has been inspired to paint are the coastlines of San Mateo County and Carmel, the tidelands of Palo Alto and scenic vistas in the Napa Valley, Russian River and Yosemite. She was raised in Palo Alto and majored in art at Stanford University. Hofstetter is a frequent lecturer and juror for local art groups. She is a Signature Member of the Society of Western Artists. Hofstetter has won numerous awards and her work has been shown throughout the United States and in Europe and is held in numerous public and private collections. See less
