Brian Halsey (1942) studied art at Wheaton College in Illinois where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also attended The Chicago Art Institute and Michigan State University, again graduated Magna Cum laude. At the height of his career Halsey was creating serigraphs and paintings emanating light in ordered structures. Halsey is the recipient of awards and distinctions including recognition from: Society of American Graphics Artists, National Academy of Design, Pratt Graphic Center International Print Exhibition, Los Angeles Printmaking Society, Print Club Galleries in Philadelphia, PA and the Metropolitan Museum and Art Center in New York, and other venues, His work is collected in several public and private museums.
