The Breton coast is highlighted in this representation of a peasant scene.
In the foreground, a Breton with the help of a fork fills a cart harnessed to a horse. In the background, the sea at low tide gives way to walkers on a shade of gray. In the background, the horizon line stretches towards a distant coast and a very vast sky offering shades of gray and light purple.
