The large Nordic landscape, with green mountain slopes in the middle of which a river flows, is inhabited by several figures in the foreground: a group of people are listening to a young man standing in the center, who announces something, pointing , with his arm stretched upwards, the sun breaking through the dark clouds. It evokes a sermon by Saint John the Baptist, although no iconographic element specifically refers to this character. The painting, restored and relined, it is mounted on an early 20th century frame. It is presented in a contemporary frame. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
