A mesmerizing modern abstract marble sculpture by a noted Japanese artist (Aoyama Ayomi). The work is in a fine marble with a natural, unfinished, end. The work achieves a sense of natural completion in that it expresses the artist's conception and execution while acknowledging the natural beauty of the materials used. The work is evocative of Raku pottery, where naturally occurring characteristics are not flaws, but rather an expression of the infinite and unquantifiable beauty surrounding us. Bears the title of :"Angel".
Measures approximately: 15" H x 10.5" diameter to base. Note the work is quite heavy for it's size.
