Laval, the artwork is set in the original carved giltwood frame. The beautifully executed landscape painting captures a serene countryside scene, from the late 19th century in the style of Eugene Galien-Laloue. The artist masterfully depicts a peaceful rural setting with soft brushstrokes and natural colors that emphasize the calm of nature. Tall, leafless trees stand in the foreground, suggesting a late autumn or early winter setting.
