Circa 1960s Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs Denmark cheese cutting board with integrated knife in staved teak. An ingeniously designed piece, epitomizing form and function: the slot within the board itself houses the knife to both present a modernist paddle-shape and prevent loss. A useful, compact innovation that takes up very little space (L: 11.5" x D: 6.75" x H: 1").
Good, vintage condition, showing knife impressions to both sides of the board, along with scuffs to the knife blade. Expected wear, given its use / age.
