An original Studebaker hand-painted wooden sign, originally from a 1930s wagon shop. Emblazoned with "Studebaker Wagons" at the center and "New" and "Used" on either side, this piece is a standout artifact of early American advertising that captures the spirit of an era when wagons had a significant presence in American transportation industry.

HISTORY
Studebaker started as an American wagon manufacturer based in Indiana. Founded in 1852 as the Studebaker Brothers Manufacturing Company, the firm originally built coaches, wagons, buggies, carriages and harnesses. It eventually entered the automotive business in the early 1900s with gasoline vehicles.
