Dating back to the late 60s, to be precise 1967 as attested by the writing that certifies the copyright of … Read more Dating back to the late 60s, to be precise 1967 as attested by the writing that certifies the copyright of United Feature Syndicate Inc; this felt pennant celebrates a comic book icon as well as the childhood of many of us. Silkscreened on teal blue felt we find Snoopy who, equipped with a pilot's helmet, goggles and a scarf, is ready to climb aboard his Sopwith Camel fighter biplane (actually his doghouse) and is ready to assume one of his favorite identities, that of an ace of aviation during the First World War. But his flights are not peaceful, because they are disturbed by an enemy as stubborn and dangerous as he is invisible (Schulz, in fact, will never draw him), constantly cursed loudly by the reckless beagle: the German pilot Manfred von Richthofen, better known as the Red Baron. This pennant has been perfectly preserved thanks to the chrome frame with glass in which it was contained, only the tip of the frame has a slight imperfection. See less
