Fat Lava ceramics, originating primarily from West Germany, are known for their bold textures and dynamic glazes. The vases are crafted from ceramic and showcase the iconic Fat Lava glaze, which produces a rough, molten-like surface. The orange and black color palette creates a bold contrast, with glossy orange sections juxtaposed against the textured black "lava" finish. These pieces combine modernist forms with organic, volcanic textures, embodying the experimental and expressive design language of the 1980s. The rough textures and bright orange hues are reminiscent of natural lava flows and magma, giving the vases a unique, dynamic presence. height of the other two vases 25 cm, 19 cm.
