Vintage Sterling Silver Picture Frame ~ Engraved L.E.H. on the top. My sister taught me early on that you can just create a story or a relative behind any personalized item you have where you don't know the history or the person . . . create it. In this case, L.E.H. could be your Grandfather's initials, Leland E. Hamilton . . . or whomever you choose.
This frame is well-loved ~ please note the condition in the photographs. Notably, the back easel is not attached, there is some fraying to the velvet and there is a dent in the lower right corner. The glass seems to be original as it has a few minor chips in the corners ~ not noticeable when inside the frame.
It is marked "Sterling B 3930" with an arrow hallmark. I did quite a bit of searching and couldn't determine the maker. I believe it to be made in the US.
The opening for a photo is 3" x 4.5", the frame itself is 4" x 5.5"
