An Italian pair of four-light "leaf" sconces with their original finish. This vintage pair of sconces from Italy each feature a metal leaf-shaped back plate, which has a beautiful fluidity in movement as it touches and comes away from the wall. There are four metal light arms (in a two tiered fashion) which emerge out on s-shaped scrolls, which terminate into ruffled iron bobèches with painted candle sleeves at their centers. The iron, with its original gold/bronze finish, has a nice old patina throughout. The lights will need to be re-wired for the US. This pair of Italian leaf sconces are just shy of 2.5 feet in height.
