"Pour yourself a drink, put on some lipstick, and pull yourself together".- Elizabeth Taylor
The film icon's advice on how lipstick is an essential part of dealing with adversity is as timeless as this original oil painting: War Paint.
The artist's impressionistic take on lipstick and other items of battle preparation on a woman's beauty table has a wonderful contemporary vibe. The painting looks fantastic in a floating wood frame.
The background color, lavender, is even the same shade as the film legend's eyes!
