well, in this landscape of the piedmont countryside covered with a thick blanket of snow, we can admire all the superb skill of demetrio tabacco.

the painting is accompanied by a beautiful contemporary lacquered wooden frame

in his hometown he briefly attended tommaso ruffo's studio.
in 1921 he made his debut in biella. Subsequently, he exhibited in turin, vercelli, novara.
from 1916 to 1918 he moved to tripoli, where he faithfully portrayed scenes of the environment and customs.
he dealt with the landscape, but preferred the figure.
among his works we remember: arab knights, a work exhibited at the iii biella exhibition of fine arts; murzuk castle; arabian fantasy; water carriers; arabian well; the arab market; traveling musicians; the caravan; prayer in the desert; interior of mosque; in which he underlined his skill with perspective.
